Your data, your account.
The whole product is built on one promise: your financial data never leaves your Google account. Here's exactly what that means.
What we collect
Nothing about your money. Your transactions, categories, balances, and amounts live only in your own Google Sheet — we never see or store them.
Anonymous usage stats, to improve things. So we know what's working and where people get stuck, we use Google Analytics — in two separate places that never share data:
- This website: standard anonymous visit stats — which pages you view, where you came from, and rough location and device. No financial data, and nothing tied to your name or email.
- The add-on: which features you use, the names of categories you create (to improve the starter set), and the number and types of accounts you add — tied only to an anonymous random ID.
- We never see: amounts, balances, net worth, transactions, account names, or your email — none of your financial data, ever.
- Opt out anytime: on this website, use the button below; in the add-on, Settings → Privacy. In the EU, UK, and Quebec, analytics stays off until you turn it on.
No bank connection
We never ask for bank credentials and use no aggregation service. You export a CSV from your bank and import it yourself — your login never touches us or any third party.
Google permissions
The add-on requests only the access it needs to read and write your own spreadsheet and show its interface. It does not request restricted scopes or route your data through any outside server.
Your identity
Premium is tied to your Google account email — that's your identity, so there's no separate password or account to create. Payment is handled by our payment processor; we never store card details.
Export & deletion
It's your spreadsheet. Export your settings anytime, and delete everything by removing the add-on or the sheet. Your financial data never lingers on our side, because it was never there. Anonymous usage stats are retained by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
